Located in Laugarás in Biskupstungur, around 20 minute drive from Geysir, is the petting zoo Slakki, a large outdoor area, ideal for a special family trip.

There you can enjoy the beautiful countryside among Icelandic farm animals like rabbits, puppies, kittens, turkeys, foxes, goats, geese, ducks, and chickens.

In addition to all the animals, which you can view up close, the owners have changed the old greenhouses in the environs into an indoor golf facility with a minigolf course on the one hand and a nice restaurant on the other.
